Thanks Steve! I wish I can buy loads but I can't :(
I may buy a DC07 or DC14 off him brand new, not sure about the DC01 TBH, That can go to a good home but not for me, I want a slightly more enjoyable vacs with better looks

The Dysons he's selling will go for a fair bit, but don't forget though that the clutched models will likely have stretched belts with age, so may need new clutches. Its better to go for the clutchless ones, as the belts are cheaper.

Thanks Steve :) What do you reckon the DC07 Animal will go for? or the non clutched DC14i

I am deciding between the DC07 and DC14 new... :)

It isn't a DC07 Animal, its the DC07 Original. I don't know what they will end up going for, but I suspect the DC14 might fetch a bit more than the DC07. You may well get the DC07 for the opening bid of £100. Refurbed DC07's are still quite common on ebay, as are the DC14's.

I think the DC04 Absolute+ will go for the most, being the oldest.

I think he has got a DC07 Animal but its not listed on ebay just yet. I'd imagine he's selling these vacs in batches, rather than all in one go, as this will raise the most money for them.

I think we are all waiting for the Dyson DC02 DeStijl and the DC01 Absolute aren't we Mr Parwaz - now those ones will be the ones to get, rare and highly desireable, especially NIB. The DC05 original is a lot more common, and I don't think it will raise all that much compared to a NIB DC01 or DC02, but they must be boxed.

It all depends on who wants them, and how fat their wallets are. There are some very desireable vacs they are gonna be selling, and some not so. Some newer basic models might not fetch much, but the older higher spec Hoover and Dyson models will fetch the most. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these didn't go for less than £200. Some may even fetch £300+. There will be bargains though that should go for less than £100, so everyone should get a look in.

I think the most important thing is that these vacs will go to good loving homes, with collectors who will look after them, and appreciate their rarity in as new condition. We must remember that these vacs will never be made again, they represent a slice of Vacuum cleaner history, and once they die they are gone forever. The Hoover Turbopower 2 was a very successful cleaner, but now has become very rare, with most now long gone to vacuum heaven, and most parts now obsolete, so adding to their demise. Those few remaining in good condition should be preserved and cherished, rather than being used and knocked about.
