VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

It has already been released. Once distributors clear out their current inventory they should be receiving the shipment. Rexair does not want it talked about until stock has been cleared.

SRX?

Hmm the name alone has me intrigued. I'm guessing this may be a re-design since it's no longer an E-series? I look forward to seeing this unit.

The machine has been completely redesigned, has a lot of new features , I.e. 4 speed motor etc... the warranty has been extended to 10 years. In all honesty I think the new design is better but until I get my hands on one and do a complete tear down I can’t give a full review.

Just based on the improvements.

It sounds rather promising! I'll have to keep my eyes out one I'd like the chance to run my tests on it, see how it stacks up!

I’m not so much in the dealers shoes anymore... I do have the ability to do demos, however I’m extremely busy with being the repair tech at the office. It’s just me in the service area, fixing most of the New York State upstate region.

price with a trade in

I'm wondering how much I could get the new model for if I traded in my E2 black, I'm guessing it would still be over $1000 and if that's the case, think I will skip it. Lately I've really been in to central vacuum units and there is a 240 volt model that I want to get, that will be more powerful than any portable vac, especially if you connect the hose directly to it.

If people know a new models coming out and that old stock is trying to be gotten rid of will there be some short of markdown on the current model

I can give discounts to the club members, however being given the “run around” I will work with someone if they are serious. We do financing, and free shipping.

Mike:
The price of the new machine is unknown, however if you are asking a dealer to basically give up any and all commission so you can get a new machine, I can promise that isn’t going to happen. I have out of kindness given up my commission to a couple of fellow members whom I have sold to. One of which I made a very small commission due to finance costs, but used it to drive the machine out to him which put me at about 12 hours of driving round trip, The other I used my small commission to ship the machine. I will say that regardless, the new machine will be over 1000 and the saying you get what you pay for definitely comes into play.

As far as old stock goes and people knowing anything. No one knows anything about a new model as no one is supposed to be talking about it, and the more people that know about it the harder it will be to sell off the old stock. There are a few people who have leaked a few things out. I’m not one. Rexair’s legal department isn’t anything to screw with hence why I’m not answering ANY questions. I have seen first hand on how they react to “things” to protect themselves. They are more forgiving than Tacony but then again Tacony doesn’t make “one” model of machine, they make several.
This model is kind of a big deal to rexair, kinda like when they introduced the E-Series from the D4 SE.

Hey

The last model don't get mad if I'm wrong was black platinum. I had one I just sold.
I have a e2 gold series 2 speed. The gold is awesome. The black was the nicest vacuum I've ever used. It was super quiet and very user friendly.
If I save up liquidate vacuum maybe I can get one.
Les

Hi les! The 2 speeds were gold, blue and black.
People use the terms, “onyx, silver, platinum, bronze” they are a nice machine, however there were improvements that needed to be made over the improvements that were made, if you catch my drift. Not only that but it was time to retire the almost 20 year old design.
Btw congrats on that 913!

I know when I bought my e2 in 06 I got 600 from another SEPE I had. Then in 2011 when either the circuit board or controller went bad I got 1000 out of my e2 toward the e2 black plus the aquamate and Rainjet free and the Rainbowmate at a big discount. I love my se but alot of parts are being discontinued and more are sure to follow

It’s about time

That they done come out with a new model. I was just thinking about it a few weeks ago that it’s been quite a while (8 years to be exact) since they came out with a new model. I do have a few questions and I hope that y’all can answer them.
1. Is this model smaller in size compare to the current model?
2. Is it quieter in sound?
3. Also do the optional attachments get updates too?
If anyone can send me links to more info on this model that would be great
