Last I knew Miracle Mate hadn't made a new vacuum since 2017. That has changed. There have been internal changes and their Canadian side is pretty much gone but in the course of talking to one of their people in their US main office in Washington state I discovered that they are making new Miracle Mates and selling them. It's good to know that there are US made alternatives, albeit expensive ones, to all the cheap plasticrap in the big box stores.

any pictures on the new model?
It's still the tried and true Platinum canister, but now it comes with the Galaxy power nozzle. The US Miracle Mate side doesn't have a website per-se, but instead have a Facebook page. The Canadian side has a website but they are mostly inactive now and Jupiter's punitive tariffs on Canada have made things much worse for their Canadian side.

i don't see any new pictures on there facebook page!
I don't have Facebook so I can't look. But I spoke to them last week and I mentioned it was a shame they weren't making new vacuums any more. The guy on the other end corrected me and said they were now making new ones. To me that is fantastic news, especially after Tristar died. I like the Miracle Mates more than Schoettler Patriot.

Here's that new galaxy nozzle. I do see they still offer Lindhaus nozzles AND they're selling the stair pro which is an excellent mini electric tool.

I like the look of their old edge lift nozzle. It just looks so cool.
The CMB, aka Edgelift, pn is actually a good power nozzle. I am trying to get replacement brush rolls, belts and a spare motor or two for mine so it can soldier on. It's held together with machine screws in steel threaded inserts which is unusual to see.

I think the last time I saw a Miracle Mate being sold was also back in 2017 but they switched from a ET-C powerhead to a ET-1 in the same blue color as well. I'm surprised they're still around today, thought they were long gone already. I hope that these new canisters aren't painted like the other ones, not a very pleasant look once some of the paint gets chipped off.

I believe it is powder coat, not paint.

I like the idea of something like this. They look really nice.
They are brutally well made machines but very heavy. Talking to them again while trying to get parts for the CMB power nozzle that came with my M-M Platinum I was told they are not casting new bodies. They are refinishing used bodies and putting new motors, switches and other components in them. I didn't as the price but it might be a way to get an as new one for a lot less than they sold for new.

I don't mind weight, though that is just me. For example I love Kirbys, Filter queens, Miele s400 machines, lux d775's, Dyson dc02, nilfisk business deluxe, Hoover constellation, etc. I find them big, though I don't mind it. (sorry if this goes against my other post, I do find the d775 too wide although other than that I like the size of it) My local new Godfrey's (yes they are back but with three different brands and many different things, it gets immensly confusing) sells 36 Miele c3 or smaller cylinders, 10 uprights similar in size to a sebo Felix/x7, 10 robot vacuums, 33 stick vacs, 4 hand vacuums, 6 commercial backpacks with a 7.5 or so quart capacity, 7 commercial machines similar in size to a Henry and the nilfisk gs80 compact commercial vac.As you can see these machines seem MASSIVE by comparison.

Weirdness ! The filter media inside looks like the the standard electrostatic exhaust filter. Since it plugs into the power nozzle power socket you can't use it with a power nozzle. The inner cloth bag and paper dust bag are standard Miracle Mate parts. Not sure what the point is. Selling a good quality synthetic HEPA dust bag would seem to be a more practical solution. I am experimenting with the synthetic HEPA dust bags Vortech sells for their XR3000 vacuum in my Miracle Mate and Patriot. Neither brand sell a closed top synthetic dust bag like the Vortech dust bag.
