Wow

That is a find indeed. How did you come across such a rare find.
I believe it has d80 motor with sanatronic 7 one speed coil.
It's hard to find the vacuums let alone NIB.
Congrats

Selling...

I’m not sure if I want to sell the second one just yet. I’ve only had them a few hours... one is going on display and the other is staying in the box. If I do decide to sell one, I’ll certainly let you all know.

I have no idea how you did it, but kudos to you for finding these!

The rarest things here may actually be the original paper bags, owners manuals, and boxes.

ComVac

Both boxes are in excellent condition. The owners manuals are actually quite thin... Very basic operating instructions and registration cards. I’ve saved the bags, as I think they are very special, and I don’t expect I’ll run across more anytime soon.

It’s been a blast to use (the other one is staying packed away for now). They certainly have greater capability than the 50 & 80 models, honestly, they are quite impressive.

I still am trying to register in my head that they are mine now, lol.

Hey

I found an American Lincoln for sale thanks to a007kirbyman bill. I offered $100 it's on its way. Comvac are nice. I want a janitronic. I'll never find a comvac I'd settle for a 13" heritage nozzle.
You have a knack for finding museum piece vacuums. Kudos to you and your connections.

Congratulations on the American Lincoln! Those are super cool! Send pictures when you get it!

Don’t say never! For the longest time it was a pipe dream I’d ever even see a ComVac.

Which AL did you buy? Do you have any pics of it to show? We’d love to see it!

Les,

Awesome! Yes, this last version of the Super-Sweep was produced from 1982 to 1984, the same period the COMVAC series was out.

Prior to 1982, the rear wheels were single narrows and the front wheels double narrows (like the 516/Dual Sanitronic 80 wheels, only in black).

That’s a super cool machine! When do you think you will take delivery on it? I’d love to see more pics of it. I’ve never seen one of those in person. Best I can get is Internet pictures. Once you get it, you can show it from many different angles. Does it take the F&G bags - my ComVacs do. I’m interested in seeing more. Congratulations!

Hey

Thanks
I've never seen in person either. It's coming from south Carolina. I'm thinking mid next week. He probably paid close to $60 for shipping. With fees and everything he didn't make much.
FedEx ground isn't the fastest this time of year.
I know it takes f&g bags. I noticed you have a Kirby f@g which would be the same mine would take. I'm not sure on Kirby f&g bags but I'm sure it has been discontinued and there pushing there f type bags.
It's not new in the box but it's rare. It's made in same time period as yours but you but it has 18 inch brush roll.
It's sort of tradition style as yours is heritage style. I will post pics. I wish it was sooner but thanks for sharing yours. It is cool to see special vacuums.

Les!
Many A/L or Com Vac's came with a re-useable F&G style bag. Heavy fabric--heavier that a Kirby outer bag that had a slide-off top. Mine did, but what little I used it, I put an F&G bag in it! Take care to not loose the front plug! They often get loose with the years.
The first Janitronic I used back in the early 80's nozzle did come off and I could use Sanitronic tools and hose. I used it cleaning banks branches in Portland, Or!
