Hi All,

Just got one of the new Hoover Green Ray Pure Power's to check out the weave hose.....it's nothing like the one's of old all plastic and will not last long with normal use.....

Hoover claim it uses 40% less power.......

It looks awesome.... I wish we had stuff like that here. Plastic may be a good thing, it may not leak the older ones over time, but I do like the look of it. Wish it had a power nozzle too though.... congrats!

It has a normal type of hose under the plastic weave which is why I don't think it will last that long under normal use.....

what a nice looking vac

eureka has an enviro-vac upright it says uses less power, etc etc. just smaller motor and the ratings for it are low.

i think that is the new marketing trick, to use less power and be more green
