New Hoover DIVA

Hi all,

Picked up my new Hoover Diva from the post office this morning, It's part of the new stick vac range in Europe.. Had to get one cos of the name.... There's six models in the range and all of them are bagged.

Has a hose built into the handle grip...

Not a super long hose but it does stretch to more than double what you see here...

and has the tools attached to the front of the body...

Oh, wow...

She's too fabulous for words! Almost seems like it's trying to wedge into the Sebo Felix niche. I assume it's straight-suction? What's the wattage and how much do they cost?

Hey Fred,

She is a bit of looker and the build quality is not bad either... yep it's straight suction this model is 1100 watts and retails for around 180.00 US...

It has a powerhead option and when using the hose it cut suction off to the floor tool...

Hey Terry, suction is pretty good for a stick vac, but I'm shocked how powerful the suction at the hose is, when you switch to above floor cleaning....

That is probably one of the coolest stick vacuums I have EVER seen! I really hope that eventually comes to the US because I would love to have one! Congrats!

Hoover needs to buy the rights to the winning song of the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest that was held in Birmingham! It's called "Diva" and was performed by Dana International of Israel..... (For those who don't know, Dana was once a guy.......)

I can imagine a fast-paced commercial of Dana cleaning up the arena in Dusseldorf with this stick vac....getting ready for the 2011 ESC in a few weeks!
