Hey guys I just got a new vacuum from goodwill today!! It's a Hoover windtunnel anniversary self propelled in green! I got it do 10.99 so an unbeatable price as brand new it is $190. I have an extra upholstery tool and turbo tool at my house I am currently at my grandmas house at the time of the post.
Oh and the self propel is amazing I used it on my grandmas hardwood and it almost flew! Lol.

I got another in blue it is a very good performer, the both of them. I got my blue one for $5 and the mechanisim for the belt stress thing had gotten stuck i busted a spring or sonething so it does not switch to bare floors but my house is mainly carpet and green WindTunnel as pictured above can do my bare floor wither that for my Red Kenmore 721 Canister

wow my goodwill would have had $99 marked on that and would have taken the attachments off and put them in a baggies and mixed them up with the miscellaneous stuff for another $3.99

Geez Kirbyvertibles that is INSANE. I got both of mine for $15 TOTAL. And they came with attachments! BUt i traded my blue WT S/P in for the older one.

Windtunnell

I love that color Green on that one. You're lucky... I have a Blue anniversary model in self propelled and regular both bagged... I also have a covertible where you can use the bagged or bagless caretridges.. It looks almost like one of those ones that had both the forward and reverse brushrolls in it. Don't remember the name of it I left it in california when I moved to this God forsaken place LOL

I remember when Windtunnel Self Propelled uprights used to be on sale for $299.99. The regular price was $369.99 or so. Hard to believe they've dropped in price that much over the years but that's when Hoover was made by Maytag too and most of the market was still reasonable quality bagged machines with some bagless here and there.

Nice find. For better or worse cause I find their tests not the most accurate: Consumer Reports has always rated the Self Propelled Windtunnel line very high in the rankings with Excellent in the Deep Cleaning carpet category!

thermokid,

My green one has forward / reverse brush. When you look through the window when you have s/p on you can see the brush stop for a brief sec and it goes either forward or reverse
