New Bosch Athlet Arrives in the UK

The new Bosch Athlet cordless stick vac has arrived at John Lewis. Rather nice looking.

Two versions are available, high power white, lower power black. I like the fact that it has a removable brush roll like SEBO.

Looks great! I especially like that it comes with a hose, tools and shoulder strap. Noticed the central filter, but at least it's surrounded by a mesh screen to hold back the majority of the dust - and it's not so much a problem on a stick vac anyway, considering they would normally be emptied after each use.

Expensive, but still less than the Dyson and I'm sure the prices will come down in the near future.

IM sure the prices will, too - and probably the same with the new AEG Ergorapido models too.

In Germany Bosch have also released the new BSGL5850 cylinder vacuum with 850 watts to meet the new EU regs.

The UK already have the smaller bag capacity Bosch BGL3126GB with 1200 watts and has been on sale for some time.
