I just bought a new Filter Queen Majestic canister. I already have the extra-long black hose from a 360 I used to have. Does anyone know of rare or interesting accessories/attachments for these machines, such as extra-wide parquet floor brushes or really anything that would make is a more versatile machine? I love Filter Queens and am rally excited to be getting this newest model. Let me know if anything comes to mind. I'll definitely post photos of it when it comes! Thanks! I actually have a photo of it that was sent to me that I'll add to this post.

So, if anyone here, especially the Filter Queen lovers, have any information on hard-to-find genuine Filter Queen attachments, I'd really love some advice. Thanks!

Bump

Just a bump for this thread. The Filter Queen arrived perfectly, brand new, and I absolutely love it! But, could someone please talk about experiences with the attachments that are linked in above posts? I'd appreciate it.

You want the Auto Locking system!!

You have the newest, current model that is still running currently.  Your model number is M11NA.  However Filter Queen has said to be releasing a completely new system.  The plan as I know it is to unveil the new system to its distributors at their May convention in Orlando.  As to when it will start getting sold from when they sell out all pre-existing inventory, it may not show up until July or so??  Hopefully there are no kinks in the system as they had when they emerged the 360 series when it came out around 2003.    I've heard of motor changes and design to unit itself in addition to power nozzle and tool switch over.  I haven't heard anymore details as to what the overall changes were.  They've said in the past that they don't like cord winders because it is something to potentially break.  But anything is possible.  If purchased brand new your machine would have come standard with a 9" horsehair bare floor brush, combo upholstery nozzle, dusting brush and crevice tool.

The link I have below is the Filter Queen page for all possible accessories available for your machine.  You can try searching Amazon, Goodvac, your local vacuum dealer, in addtion to eBay for those item names to try to get them cheaper than from a Filter Queen distributor.

Your Filter Queen will not fit any Filter Queen attachments with the old system.  So any machine prior to 2003 your attachments will not fit.  Theoretically your machine will only fit Genuine Filter Queen tools with that cut out notch on top of tool where it locks into place.  You can get an air turbine powered hand tool called the Air Glider.  The mini Electric power head has been discontinued.  However, it's possible they may bring it back with the introduction of the new system in a few months.

Your Enviropur cone should be changed every 6 months!!  The primary function of that cone is its Carbon Charcoal properties to absorb odors and keep air smelling fresh.  A 6 month supply of genuine Filter Queen costs will include 1 premotor filter, 6 cones treated with antimicrobial agent, and 1 Enviropure filter.  That picture will run about $22 due to having the Enviropur cone.  The 12 month supply of cones would have 2 premotor filters and 12 cones.  That package with out any Enviropur filters is about $20.  The multilayered cellulose Biocone is a necessity!!!  The Enviropur is an option that I primarily recommend for households with pets, and smokers.
