I found mine by the curbside on garbage day last year with only a broken rear wheel axle and the wheel/axle part was in the bin. So I repaired that and it's good to go. I was quite taken with it's gentle curved looks and sensible central, short and direct intake path to the bin from the power brushroll 'foot'. It's like a miniature upright with low clearance for getting under things as the main body can lower to the floor. Upright it locks & stands on it's own as expected and the handle telescopes down the front side for compact storage or hanging on a wall hook.

I christened it "Grasshopper" but this one is actually badged:

Dirt Devil Express-Vac and on the manufacturer's label on the motor casing, it's a Royal made by Royal (in China).

All in all I think it's a cute package, performs better than you might think and would easily serve in a small apartment or house for the hard floor, scatterrug & wtw carpet cleaning. The plastics are thick and solid - not at all flimsy. Excellent cat hair pickup on the bed's duvet cover...which I use it for because it is light and maneuverable where a larger machine is heavy and awkward to hoist and steer. And of course it's a cheery shade of lime green. :-)

Here's mine with the handle retracted.
