I noticed this on Kijiji. They have it advertised as "Multiplication Vacuum". When I tried to Google it, I came up empty. Anybody see this one before? Looks unusual!

Yes the Shark multi vac is a straight suction machine that folds around into different directions so that it can appear to take the form of a canister vac, upright and have handle removed to be a handvac. It does have an attachment hose with a dusting brush, crevice tool and turbo driven hand held tool.

In a way I think Euro-Pro Shark designed this after some of the cordless sweepers on the market. If you've ever watched an infomercial for a cordless sweeper and they show the competitor stick broom push certain larger items like french fries, popcorn and such across a rug instead of gliding over to suck them in; the design on this head was meant to combat that problem. The front of the main floor tool sits a little higher off of the floor so that it can easily glide over and suck in large items such as cheerios, popcorn and the like. I don't think The front tool was strictly suction with no brushes, bristles, litter pickers or anything else, I don't believe.

Definitely a strange unit, I don't believe it was on the market more than a couple of years if even that long. I haven't seen one in about a year probably. One of my good friends bought one off the internet on one of those "daily deal" style websites. I think she was able to pay about $30 for it, and brand new, Amazon has one listed right now for regular price $139, current price $99. She only had it a few months, until I noticed it in her dumpster one day, I didn't ask to inquire if it actually broke, was clogged or just a pointless vacuum that didn't accomplish anything? My guess is that it probably was a little clogged knowing her but also was a pointless vac to own that didn't really accomplish much accept for probably the hand held turbine powered attachment.

I never used it all when I cleaned her house. I saw that purchase in her garage and was upset at the time because I was working to convince her of buying a $200 canister vacuum. She insists that she did not see the need to spend $200 on a vacuum, even though she can definitely afford it. I think the most she's ever spent on a vacuum was about $80. Her house desperately needed a good vacuum. She had a DD featherlite, wake the dead machine with agitator that accomplished nothing and older Hoover Widepath vacuum that was starting to fall apart, it was 8 years old. We did successfully find a Hoover PowerMax Deluxe S3608 used canister on eBay for reasonable price. However the seller claimed refurbished and when I saw it with the wrong belt installed, wrong filters that didn't fit and not enough suction I had to re-refurbish it and now its just great.

That is the strangest vacuum ever. It looks like a Euro-Pro Fantom, something Fantomvacuumfan would never put his hands on like he did back when he was in high school.

The others are right, it is a Euro-Pro, but not a Euro-Pro Fantom. I remember these, saw one on ebay the other day, actually.
