Looking to purchase: Used Avalir I shampooer tray with brushroll. I don't need the lift-out "spent water" tray.

Totally unexpected: the end of the brushroll got sheered off a few days ago. Can't figure out if it wasn't placed in the tray correctly or what. I've never had a Kirby product behave like this. Then the Zippbrush quit spinning. I've disassembled and cleaned but the two rotating parts forming the "core" just won't spin independently. Ideas?

Thanks. Give me a price if you have a spare tray I can buy.

zippbrush

i wouldnt expect components less than 5 years old to fail like that, but knowing how much above the floor cleaning you use the zippbrush for, it needs oil in the babbot bearing. pop the rotating brush out and oil it. far as the failing reno brushroll thats unusual. i usually lubricate kirby brushrolls every 5 years or as free spinning by hand becomes difficult. marvel mystery oil om the roller bearing brushrolls common with new g series will re moisten the grease and prolong wear a bit.

cant help with that parts as you know, i dont have anything that new.

Hey

You will be hard pressed to find cheap. I bought a whole shampoo setup for $55. It was dirty as heck but these retail $150-$200. If you had older shampooer could interchange. Being this is only on avalirs you need avalir.
Keep looking and you will find one. If I see one I'll post.
