Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and a Henry novice, so excuse my vacuum-related naiveté.

I've recently bought not one but TWO Henries off eBay, one for my grandad and one for my mum (she insisted after seeing the first one).

They're both old models from the 80s/early 90s I believe. The first is a red NV200, which is labelled as a Henry but features a fixed carrying handle much like a Basil and no cable rewind. The second is a brown/beige HVR200; this seems to be quite a coveted model with collectors...

Anyway, I'll post some pictures below. Any information or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi there, this response is a bit late but I hope it's of some use to you!
The first one is an NV200 from the 1980s, though it looks like it's been refurbished fairly recently, as the handle, red base and hose are all replacements.
The second is a cream and brown Henry, made sometime between 1985 and 1991. You're very lucky to have the original hose and floortool, you don't see them in the matching cream and brown colour scheme very often! The eyes/face look to be the original brown colour too (again, very desirable to have!). If you decide to sell that Henry in the future, please let me know. I love these old cream and brown models!

Regards,

Joe
