national mc9026 japanese vacuum

I have been wanting one of these odball vacuums for ages.

Found one on gumtree and rushed off to get it

Finally got around to fixing the National. It needed allot of work, Motor bearings were shot , Its uses 629 bearings typical of 70's 80's and early 90's japanese vacuums.

It had a very short hose as standard , 38 MM diam so I fitted a nice long hose I had lying around, It didn't come with any further attachments other than the hose so I used a extension tube from a Lg vacuum and a floor tool from a Delphin.

It works very well

picked up this beauty on gumtree (Electrolux model 62) and she runs a like a dream

I am loving it , its so powerful and nice to use, I have been looking for a tank style vacuum to use around the house for Non carpet cleaning. I was going to use one of my Holland elecro's but have never had a chance to retsore one of them yet and this came along.

Adam Thats a cool Electrolux, I have a few in that style just not those colours.
