National footstool vacuum...

I picked this up the other day from a Kijiji ad.

I was surprised to find that it was a 110v machine! Even though the North American plug is an add on...the ratings plate specify that this is for 110v.

The interior shot of the fan. Also the little round knob to the left of the fan couples with the filter. When you pull out the cord or reel it back in, it twirls and knocks the accumulated dirt off the filter.

National....is really Panasonic. that was what Pana was before they were Pana in the late 70's. ive never seen a National product 110 for America, but i do know in Europe the Panasnic 663 type upright was under that name....

I remember my Mom had a National Panasonic Micowave with lovely wood grain trim in the eighties

Your wands and floor tool look much more durable than the plastic ones I have. My tools all have stress cracks where the joins are. You know how old plastic gets!

I hear you! What is not obvious on mine is the jubilee clip round the end of the attachment point of the rug nozzle

I've seen various little Japanese vacs being sold in those stores "Camera/Electronics stores along Yonge Street in Toronto. Maybe that's where it came from
