Hi, I've seen this posted here before and figured I'll start it off again!

Does anyone buy N.O.S vacuum bags/ collect them, or perhaps buys the discontinued ones?

I always buy old bags and discontinued bags when I see them, I have a filing cabinet full of them!

Hi,

I buy GENUINE HOOVER bags

everytime I see them. Every Thursday, I got to "Impact"! I get bags, no matter what model. I figure I either HAVE the machine, will GET the machine, or I know someone who HAS the machine.
It is my opinion that the above package design was, by far, the BEST packaging ever designed.
John.

Re Hoover..

I found some ancient Hoover Tank bags, mod 42, they are pink!!!,also I have some Constellation bags like that.

I always try to get genuine, certainly pick up any at carboots etc too, even for machines I don't own

I also have a huge stash of pattern bags after I bought 8 boxes from a vac shop! With the turbopowers, which I have many I use pattern bags day to day, but box them up for storage with a new Hoover h4 bag inside the box.carpet! I haven't got enough genuine ones to use for vaccuming a fairly clean anyway carpet

If I may,

What is "Impact!", Some sort of re-purpose store, or something?

(I'm at a loss here).

Note- I also but the genuine bags when i find them, Especially Hoover! But
I never use the ancient packs I find!

A Trio of convertible Belts...

All purchased together, at the same store, on the same date, and have remained un-separated for 17 Years now!

(oppsies, didn't get the front of them!)

The back of one of the packages, with the original receipt stapled on. [Please refer to Reply #13 for image of belt Trio].

Oh, Would you look at what store they where bought from?

(At least then they still had genuine parts and not Arm-N-Hammer everything)!

I'm afraid or journey must come to an end (For now...).

However, I still have one thing I've been keeping...

While I do have MANY disposable bags, I also have the type you do not (Or at least SHOULD Not) Toss-Away,
