Les,
You are very welcome!
Yes, my 1987 Heritage II has a shake out bag. But when I first got it last year, it had the Heritage I's gray Emtor assembly, which was modified in order to make it fit against the long rear wheel axle; thus, when it first left the Kirby factory in TX in 1987, it originally had the common Mini Emtor disposable bag setup (I changed the axle to the short one before mounting the polished Sani Emtor body). I am still trying to locate an original black hammertoned Emtor for it, hence why I am at least temporarily using the Classic 1CR's Sani Emtor.
My 1972 Classic 1CR presently uses my Classic III's bag setup, until I can find an original gold factory Classic 1CR bag (with the correct patch on the front); whereas my 1977 Classic III is using the Legend II's Mini Emtor assembly (which I sourced from a non-working 1989 Legend II that I no longer own) so I can breathe a little better when using it.
That 13" wide Heritage II nozzle (serial number dates it to September 1985) was something I wanted to get (I've owned mine since four years ago) because I've read on here and other places that it had better suction than the standard 16" wide nozzle. I've replaced the original brush roll with the ball-bearing equivalent version. That it shares some replacement parts with the 513 to D80 nozzles was the other reason I wanted it.
My three Royals are all the same size (14" wide nozzle), but each one is progressively louder: besides my 1985 880, I also have the 786 Prince (the one in red, with a 5.4 amp motor) and the 9100 Preferred Collection (the burgundy one, with a 7 amp motor).
