My Sentria II ( 2 )

Hey guys. Yesterday i bought my new sentria ii. It ended up not turning on. I put a diamond switch in it, which i had already suspected was burnt up, then i put a G3 switch in and it works flawlessly. I polished it and cleaned it while it was apart. The tech drive is eh because it is failing prematurely. I think its the little cam because it is clicking. Im very happy and it also came with attachments and shampooer. Pictures to come.

The switch

Yes the switches on the early sentria 2's had problems. and yes all you need is a new cam in you tech drive. I have replaced many of those defective switches and the cams also need replacement from time to time, but all and all the Kirby g series are very reliable and fixable vacuums.
