I always wanted one and finally got one. I got it for $15. And they wanted for $20. But it was missing the dolly. I brought the dolly and brush roll. I'm impressed with pn with generic brush roll beats carpet pretty good. It runs smoothly. I need clean the fans little dusty, I blow the fans with compressed air.

Hi Joel,

Nice Rainbows. Can't believe you got those for such a great price!! They look nice. My Rainbow experience is limited to only 1 model which E series of yours. I'll have to try the other though. Both look nice. You know I'm a power nozzle canister guy, but I'm fussy. Interesting how much wider that older power nozzle head is compared to the E series head.

Re:

You have such nice vacs Joel. Your Silverado is my favourite. Nice to see you bring an old D4 rainbow back to life.

Rainbows are always fun machines. It looks to be in great condition, especially for $15!

Rob

Regarding the width of that power nozzle here is the underside of my R-1650C. The whole thing is nearly 15 inches wide, but there is a lot of dead space. The actual brush roll is about 11.5 inches wide. It is kinda awkward to push, but I feel that it cleans very well.

Joel great looking Rainbows!!! I'm actually starting use my Rainbow E series a little more. One of the members of the VCCC found a complete Rainbow SE for me at an estate sale and I can't wait to get it from him. I've believe it when Rob Mitchell says that they have constant airflow.
