I can answer how old these Royals and Electro-Hygienes are:
880 = 1971-1975
888 = 1971-1975 (this is the one with the removable head, not the 880)
903 = 1976-1980
980 = 1980-1982 (4.5 amp motor)
Stark 5700 (similar to Royal 9700 Classic) = 1991-1992
Certified Electric 606 = 1982 (I noticed some slip sheet dated 8/30/82)

If only you could please give me the exact serial #s from these six.
