I will probably

Re dis arrange them slightly as I go, on the back side of the Eluxes, I plan to put the rest of my tank machines,by brand of course, Hoovers, GEs, Westinghouses, Cadillacs, a few Kenmores, Kingstons,,,,,The canisters will go on the narrower shelves, when thru I hope to be able to find everything!

thats very nice im doing similar thing in my basement i have a corner of the basement whit all my vacuum and bag ect working on it slowly awesome ot have room to work and display your machine thats always ncie

You should put up some pegboard or build some rotating racks for bags. I made my own rotating rack and keep all sorts of bags and belts on it. Of course it only scrstches the surface of my supply...

Yes ,,,But im only getting started!

I moved 2 pickup truck loads of tank machines tonight, im 3/4 thru with tanks, tomorrow I will finish them up and start on canisters, there are probably 150 canisters and I would say I have already moved close to 200 tanks, there were about 60 Electroluxes,,,all the uprights are in the workshop building with the mixers, 310 stand mixers, and I didn't count the portables and blenders,,,lol

Hans, your new vacuum room is starting to look great! Congratulations on having a nice home to display & use your collection, & I hope it brings you joy for many years to come :-)

Rob

Re Bags,

I have probably 5 or six of the biggest totes full, I need to do just as you suggested, pegboard is a great idea!

I wish mine were that organized. I don't have room for shelves.

I love those Apex's, do you have any upright Apex's.

I took all the HooverAnd GE and Westinghouse and

Filtex and Hamilton Beach tanks...LOL..and they are now on shelves, nearly one whole row for Hoovers John,!! All the Tanks are now put up, Im going to try to move all the canisters tomorrow, Morgan, I have only one Apex upright and its a Wizard from Western Auto, one of the tanks is also, I will have so much more room now! and a good work area, a place for a sink etc! Im going to hook up a dishwaser for washing hoses etc and a wringer washer for bags...I hope some of you guys will come visit, hopefully we will be moved within a month.

Canister

Moving day is here, im taking it kind of easy, this shoulder and back are not cooperating this morning, but The General Electrics and Hoovers are next!

Very nice display Hans!!! I hope to acquire this level of space someday to properly display my machines! BTW....would you happen to have an extra non-electric fabric hose to match a Super J or Golden Jubilee ( Tan with teal and gold tracers ) Keith

Ki Kiether

No, I don't have ANY hose original to a Super J or Jubilee, those did not hold up well at all, I remember them though.
