Al is correct. They sold similar machines in Canada under the names Ford (blue and silver), Ruton (Red and Silver) and Arrow Electro (Green).

Vac Studio...

Al, Congratulations on the new vac space. It does look great, those racks are so sturdy and very adaptable. Loving the "Wall of Electrolux" at least we wont need to be getting Jack doing this again!!

Surreal was not quite the adjective I would have used but it certainly was a different way to pass a Christmas. And it is a happy accident that our two collections are reasonably complimentary - although that is probably more a reflection of our respective ages than anything else.

Although we have not discussed it, the possibility of a stair case (in this case leading no where) as a display space has crossed my mind, I am not sure if the regular staircase inside the house will be big enough for the Stairway of Juniors, we will have to see LOLOL

Are all your Electroluxes the older type with the swivel out loop or do you have any that require a special bracket - 91/94/02/303/310/330/345/355. If the latter I discovered,quite by accident,an ideal hook at B&Q last week. It looks rather like the one on the link but it does not have the top bit on it - if you look carefully you can see them holding up the Electroluxes

all of my Electrolux machines are of the older type usually discarded by family members [there are a few Goblins in there ] i do tend to have a soft spot for them .but i can see what you mean that hook is perfect

Your collection is absolutely amazing, Having looked at your pictures I can see a few vacuums from my childhood, My grandmother had an Electrolux 65 2 of my aunts had connies.

I only have a few vacuums in my collection but, it's growing slowly.

Anyway, your studio looks brilliant
