Recently bought the shark rotator and I absolutely love it cleans carpets fantastically so easy to use. One think i like it about over the Dyson is the emptying the dyson you have to shake the dirt out and the dust get stuck in there sometimes. The shark it literally just falls out no shaking just easy as pie. this is a fantastic vacuum it is my every day vacuum now and it's okay for hardwoods with The main head but the dust away pad it's fantastic. The suction is fantastic is literally self-propelled Rolls itself is just fantastic and the plastic feels actually pretty good. For the price this is an astounding vacuum cleaner and is actually quite good and hard floors does better with the microfibre pad.

I have one too

It's lightweight, has great suction and I love the fact that it doesn't leak dust! The last dry bagless vacuum I had called Fantom Fury was just awful and I hated it. You could literally see dust collecting on the outside of the vacuum. Not this one. I use mine for just vacuuming carpets. I rarely use the lift away or attachments because to me they are not easy to use and I just use my Rainbow vacuum for dusting...

Shark Rotator is one of the best modern uprights for the money. Foam pre motor filter just gets dirty faster than multi cyclonic vacuums. Not big deal really. It's just something to keep in mind.
