My new Hoover Decade 8 0

Dave from Stratford dropped by today and brought me this Decade 80 he got for $2. It's in almost primo condition just needing new headlight bulbs. He just left for the 90 min drive home and I'm itching to tell everyone what he came down here to pick up, plus a couple of more things, one of which appeared almost mystically as these things often do.
But I won't tell.. I'll let him start his own thread... LOL
BTW that's glare, not worn out on the front of the vac

These are excellent carpet cleaners. This was the last innovation for the venerable Hoover Convertible cleaner. After the Decade series, the Convertible was phased out in favor of the Elite. The last of the Convertibles were available until the early 1990s. Congratulations on your find, Pete!

Seriously tho, the Decade 80 came from the Stratford ReStore for $2.50 and since I don't...er...didn't collect uprights until Pete despoiled me, well...I knew it was worth saving.

Site was offline for a while, now back 10:35PM.

Nice one Pete, you have the definately have the knack of getting perfect Hoover specimens landing at your door by whatever means!!!It does look a rather slendid model, thats one thing Hoover where never afraid of, "Style & Colour"
