My "new" Heritage II!

Typically, they work better than they look.

I can fix everything on a Kirby except it's tech drive mechanism. I don't quite understand how it works yet.

I'm hoping to get a Kirby with an irreparable tech drive and see how it works. Fortunately, I have yet to find one bad tech drive.

blah!

Who needs Tech-Drive, anyways? KIRBY wouldn't needed it if they still made nice, lighter cleaners before the 3rd Generation!

Tech drive is so nice though.

My little sister was using our Kirby when she was 4. She couldn't use my grandma's Heritage though. Too hard for her to push.

sonnyndad,

What I would do to have a collection like yours...

TASE,

Believe it or not, when I first started collecting, I would admire other collections and think the same thing. You just have to be patient. I've spent 4 years working to grow my collection. You just have to know where to look. Around here, there are quite a few good thrift stores that I frequent. (It helps to live in a big city like Bombingham.) There is the Goodwill, the Big Saver, the America's Thrift Store, the other Big Saver, etc. That's not even the half of my collection, if you want, I can post 3 other photos I have.

Hi Will!

While I am to late to cheer up your day,I can still cheer up your day before yesterday.

I do not have many photos on hand of my collection (mainly because my camera is terrible, I still use 35 millimeter film for my photos, only using digital when it comes to vacuumland pictures, etc that must go on the internet).so far, my collection consists of my most recent find, the brand-New Heritage II Legend, an extremely rare 1979 Tradition with the infamous locking headlamp cap, an Omega done in Classic III red, 2 Classics, a   DS80, and a factory rebuilt 511. Still, I'll try to get photos by tomorrow, some others I have old photos of.

I'm not sure which of us came out better, we got the Heritage II, but probably would have passed if we'd seen & heard it first. You were presented a wreck & had the option to decline, but still have no "prize".

Honestly penie396, I just look around a lot. I found a Kirby Legend II with Classic III boxes and attachments with a little... Surprise for $30 at the thrift store recently.

Oh, and I found a very dirty G4 for $15. Gonna clean it up, get some attachments, and my shopping for my sister for Christmas is done!

And hey super-sweeper. I've just been busy. Had some family complications and homework that's taken over my life. Hoping to get back to vacuumland soon. (Though, I'm getting rid of about half of my collection.)

Hey Will! Feel free to call me Alex!

It's good to see you back, why are you getting rid of half your collection?

On a side note, happy 3,100th post to me! I remember when I was celebrating my 2,000th post!

I'm getting rid of half my collection due to uhh... How do I say it. Lack if interest? I'm only interested in Kirby, Rainbows, and a certain era of Eurekas. My Miele, Electrolux, Dysons, Royal, Viking, one of my Rainbows, and one of my Kirbys will be hopefully boxed up ready to ship soon.

As much as I love some of these vacuums, I don't have the space and I'm saving up to buy a 91-95 S10 Blazer in March, so even if I only get $150 for all of these, that's 1/10th of the way there. I will be keeping most of my Kirbys, one Rainbow, and my lime green Kenmore vacuum.

As much as I love the Viking, it has to go. It's sat in my room since I bought it, unused.

I'm so excited to get a Blazer. The '98 doesn't seem bad, but I prefer the older body style/interior.

Honestly, I'll be getting whatever S10 is under $2000 or so and is in the best shape. It would just be nice to get the body style I like.
