Donald came from an auction with this!!! A model 60 Electrolux...for 5.00 with the book and all attachments!

It cleaned up real nice.

The bristles and insert on the dust brush were rotten,but I have some new ones somewhere in all my junk!

That Turbotronic is sure an interesting machine. Hans, do you have any of the tools that would have gone with this machine. Just wondering what they would look like. Kind of reminds me of a Electro Hygiene or a Royal.

Hans, the Compact Magic Disc carpet sweeper is next to useless, but it's so pretty!

I also have that Compact manual -- the cover graphics are very cool.

I love the hose on the Turbotronic! What a cool combination of turquoise and silver.

What a beautiful Electrolux model LX

From what I can see whoever had this Electrolux took very good care of it! And the attachments are placed correctly on the companion (tool holder). As the two nameplates are red lettering on a yellow background and the cordwinder is chrome. Check to see if there is a dial under the front cover to control the ejection process. If there is no dial, (and I doubt there is) then it's a very early model, most likely 1952. By 1953 they added the dial to slow down the ejection process and prevent it from ejecting before the wrapper (bag) was full. By 1953/4 the nameplates were chrome with the word Electrolux slightly raised.

To me this is the nicest Electrolux ever made. If you use a little 'Mother's polish' the chrome will look factory new. Hope you can bring this to the convention for all of us to see.
