I have a Kirby Ultimate G diamond edition from 2003 that my parents bought, almost as old as me
And all 3 safety interlock switches are broken the side switch and the 2 switches on the front of the powerplant. The motor is still going strong so what should I do as I can no longer vacuum and now I have to use my Cheap Shopvac. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Bryce,

Welcome to Vacuumland.

It sounds like you will need to replace the main safety switch assembly. This is not something you would want to try on your own unless you have experience in disassembling and reassembling Kirby G series machines because this repair is not easy to do. I would recommend that you take your UG Diamond to a Kirby dealer or a vac shop that is experienced in Kirby repair.

If you Do want to try this repair yourself here is where you can order the part:
