My Kirby Classic 1-CR is now my daily driver

Hi Everyone,
Been reworking my Kirby Classic 1CR.

Polished it,

New bearings, fan and brushes,

Washed original bag,

Got some new trim, bulb etc and now it is my daily driver!

I'll get a pic in the next few days or so.

My mom bought in new back in the day and it has been in my garage for the last 20 years.

That was a good model and a real work horse. We have one in the family my Grandmother bought for her and I back in 1971. 40 yrs later we still have it. I have fond memories of the love my grandmother gave me becouse I used it with love to take care of her and be a part of what was going on that day. I took possesion of it days after she bought it. (I was 4 yrs old at the time) It was always mine. We just kept it at her house becouse that is where it was needed most. Her model 519 was always mine too.
