Hello!!!! I have right here a Hoover Blender, dating back to the early '70's, that I received for $10 at a garage sale. I have not tested it out yet, I just kept it in a cabinet for safekeeping. Here is a few pics of it. (I had to use the webcam)

Nice!

I recently found one at a local thrift store called Savers: not the same as the one you have but a very nice one all the same (a picture of it is attached). Hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine!

Yeah

the spatula was nipped because the blades of the blender cut it when I got it. I maybe will make some malts with this. I also found that the cord can retract in to the base!!!

Great piece of period kitsch. I had no idea Hoover made anything other than vacuum cleaners. Did Hoover actually make it or is it re-branded from another manufacturer? The best part is you don't have to connect it to the vacuum cleaner to use it.

Hoover kitchen appliances

were made by other appliance makers and rebranded with the Hoover name. I have a Hoover percolator that is obviously a Presto Super Speed. I think Presto made a lot of Hoover's appliances.

i have always

wanted a Hoover Toaster. I have been trying to find one on Ebay, but when i did, it always came up as broken, screwed up, etc. I have always wanted an Hoover Junior too.

My mom had a tan 7 speed

We used that thing for years. Finally, after alot of abuse (yes we put the jar in the dishwasher). The blades just stuck and we couldn't get them to move. Sadly it had to be replaced.

That was long enough ago that the Oster that replaced it is 30 years old now.
