Delish! Does anyone remember several years ago, early 90s when these and the uprights were offered at Sams? I remember the same?? maybe machine being clearanced at under $100, hindsight! Nice piece there!

Dang!  Nice find!  Everyone seems to be finding these later-model metal-body Electroluxes!  I'm certainly getting the itch for one... Did it come with a hose?

Neat! I have never found an electrolux at the goodwill. I have found rainbow E series that my friend has bought (which are stacked on top of each other in his closet), and even filter queens. But never a little lux. A thrift store had a model G with nothing, but they wanted $23 for it. I passed it up.

Good will find!

Fred, this came from the Goodwill Outlet Store, this is where they put stuff that is incomplete, or that dosent work, everything is piled into flat bins on wheels, and you buy it by the pound, the hose was there but had a broken end, I had a hose, there was a complete e series Rainbow also but someone grabbed it before I could, im always getting something there, a Saniway, a 65 Convertible, a early G and 2 1205s and now this, you can get a buggy full for 10.00 or so!!

Our goodwill outlet works like this- Whatever isn't bought in a regular store after X days, its taken to the outlet store

Thats where I get all my machines- the outlet store.

Every Vacuum brand are set at $10, but kirbys are set at $14. They sit along a wall in the back. Normally 8-12 vacuums are there at one time.

Most other stuff except furniture like TVS, beds, tables chairs etc, are sold at $1.30 a pound in big blue bins.

Quite an adventure digging around in there. lol.

Love the Goodwill Outlet

It's a great source for me. I've found Luxes -- almost always in pairs, for some reason -- several Kirbys of all ages, Hoovers and others. My best score was the week I found a Miele Solaris Electro Plus. Went back a few days later and found a Flamenco II as well. Couldn't beat the price, either -- $2 each.
