The Complete "Compact" Home Renovating System model C-7. IEC Electra. From the unique attachments, to the beautiful shade of blue. This stunning example came home with me from Memphis. It was part of Father Bruce's collection and is mint condition. It now has a place of honor at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum for the world to enjoy.

ah yes

Ah yes the Compact Home cleaning system i own a Compact C9 i know where your coming from they are so wonderful i have several vacuums as well

compacts

The compact vacuums are great, I absolutely love my compact C6, and I will soon own one of the compact tristar clones, a miracle mate, thanks to Tom for finding a great one on Ebay. I think in many ways, the compacts and airways were ahead of their time. Unfortunately Airway is no more and Aerus has ruined the compact tristar models. When was the C7 model made, late 60's early 70's perhaps?

Yes Mike. Late 1960s. There were two versions. The blue one which I have, Had unique attachments that were not very durable. The blue version was made for a very short time. It's the one that had the drag queen on the cover of the instruction book. The second version of the C7 was green. I have one of those new in the box. The green one took away the cloth hose and added a vinyl hose. The attachments were back to the standard compact attachments, however, they were white to match the handle and the bumper. The green version came with a turbo brush powerhead. Called "the turbinette".

Same motor as the model C6. It would not be too difficult to add a power nozzle receptacle to the top of the machine just like they did on the C5 and C6 power brush models. I like to use this model with the volt cordless power nozzle

Glad that Compact was able to travel back to you, Tom.. I really enjoyed it while I had it. Now it's in its rightful place for the long run.
