Here are some pics I took at my storage unit. All these vacuums have been in video on my youtube, but I wanted to post the pics here. In the white trash bag is a Fantom Crosswind 200, I wrapped it for extra protection.

Wildcat box

Sorry, I forgot to post, the Wildcat box is what the Crosswind was sent in when I bought it off ebay. I don't have a Wildcat to go with it, hope to get one though. Its just an empty box.

I like your collection, it looks great. When I worked for the local Oreck franchise we took in a Fantom Lightning on trade (I think it was traded in on an XL21), after the required three days return period I was told to toss it in the trash... it went into the back of my car instead. It was already on it's last legs, but I took it apart, cleaned it up and enjoyed it for the month or two before the motor burned out. I'd like to get another one in better shape.
Someday, maybe.

The fanton canister looks like it is just a renamed dysn dc02, how is its pic up with the pn, i was never really impressed with the dc02 but I have never tried one with a pn , that could make a huge difference

I still have my ( I Believe) 1997 Fantom 11 Amp Thunder. We used to have a Fury too. But that thing died In I think 07 or 08.

I wouldn't use your Fantom's as Daily Drivers, the motors are known to go bad. It doesn't mean It's a bad vacuum, It's just an old vacuum.

Nice Collection.

Yeah

That's why they are in the storage unit, I don't use them very often. I have a Hoover Platinum Collection Multicyclonic Upright that I use as my daily driver. And Gsheen, the Lightning does a very good job! It is my favorite Fantom.

Yeah

Although I have never had a problem with any of my 3 Fantom Lightnings I have had, I have heard of lots of people having issues with them, ranging from the power connections to the power head going bad to the swivel neck snapping etc. However, like I said I have never had an issue.

OMG Fantomlightning you joined vacuumland at last.

And to tell you the truth, Fantom's best models were the Fury and Cyclone XT, with maybe the Thunder, Fantom Domestic, and the Lightning. The Crosswind...let's say it was bad, but not the worst. Wildcat...so bad, Fantom died from that, with the downgrade to single-cyclonic models, warranties being unhonored, and as some theories, 9/11 destroying Niagra Fall's plant.

"Brand New Fantom Fury"

Hello out there in Vacuumland!...anyone looking for a "New IN Box Fantom Fury"?
I know where there is one up for grabs if anyone is interested!

A Fantom NIB will never happen, except if you get really lucky. And FantomLightning, are you still saving money to get new parts for your Thunder and Fury? When you get the Fantoms restored, they will come back to your channel after 3 years of being off the site.

One of the most fragile parts on the Fantom Fury is the bottom frame of the floor nozzle. The section that spans where the dual handle pedal is mounted in the back. The design itself isn't very robust; over time, the plastic has seemed to embrittle which makes the situation worse. Be careful when wheeling these machines over things.

Yes, I know.

FantomLightning, you still had no luck getting new parts for your Fantoms. I'm suggesting you sell them because of a lack of interest in being in the videos after 3 years.
