Over the years I regretted it now thanx to eBay I had another chance .
See that's my problem did I really need this Kirby ?

Thanks for the advice Dan!!

I'm SO impressed with the Rainbow E2 Type 12 so far. I've thought about going back to Filter Queen customers that sounds tough though too. They've invested so much in it and they don't get much credit back from Rainbow from their former FQ purchase. What I'd like to do was any who did not buy or I was going to check back with that was in a reasonable financial standing, I want to show the Rainbow system to.

Thanks again for posting of your great collection and your very nice response with advice!!

Rob

I'm absolutely impressed with your machines Dan. Best collection I've seen, just one question. What are your views on the Schoettler machines (Patriots/Airstorms) and Vortechs? I can see you seem to like your Miracle Mates, and was wondering what your thought of the others. Since those and Tri-Stars all are variations of one another.

Thanks
Eric

Eric

I so appreciate your compliment this is a labor of love .
I love Patriot/Air Storms from Scholletter research .
I had a few Patriots and think I still have one I just need
to find it 😜

I have two Vortech Force a green one and the newest red one
stay tuned .

Three more

I think vacuums are related to rabbits or I have a problem with vacuum purchasing ?

First is the last US made royal the Classic TOL 4008
This was the model I sold in my store I use this one and have
a NIB still sealed that I am keeping along with this .

Second is the TTI built Everlast 8100 although has excellent
build quality the shine is just not there look like stainless steel
finish rather than highly polished chrome appearance of the 4008 .

Last is a Sebo essential G rebadged as a Century U vac 400
It ok I prefer the Hoover Profile to the Sebos .

How many water filter vacs do you have Dan, I am not a huge fan of them if I am honest a bit fiddly to use in a hurry. That said I understand them and there point but in my opinion of all the ones i have used, only the rainbow works properly.

A vacuum for any propose I say

You took the words right out of my mouth, Its always good to have a back up , and a back up for the back up and a back up for that back up and yea you get my point.

I mean imagine it must be really boring having to use the same vacuum every day , kind of like driving the same car to work every day as well, hehe

Lol I love having

Some still in the box 😁

Great find only thing is those bags only for the
machines on the package . They are the Tacony
built Hoovers and I already use my Simplicity cloth
hepa bags in the Tacony Hoover .
John Gregory ordered me the Royal genuine B bags
Thanks for all your effort it's greatly appreciated .

Dan

Tacony built Hoovers?

The mind reels! When did this happen? Tacony doesn't build many of their own vacs, but they built hoovers too at some point? Argh...

Yeah i know you order some of the B's...i ordered some brush strips from John over the phone. A conversation with him sure gives you confidence in the name (and builds anticipation for their products) going forward that's for sure, thx again for the suggestion.
Btw, I messaged you about a vac you had expressed interest in, "still in the box" ...lmk if it works out.[this post was last edited: 2/19/2014-19:57]

Rob

Tacony builds all of their vacuums in St. James MO

They made the Hoovers for a short time a few years ago .

Yes John Gregory is the only true Hoover guy I know with extensive
knowledge about every model and he truly cares about the brand
and TTI looks to him a lot for advice plus he has designed and continues
to design Hoovers for the company .

Thank you but until I get rid of some vacuums I am keeping my vacuum
purchases to just Kirby and any other new high end machines pop up .
I am purchasing a Riccar Prima once it's released .

Dan

Now that is something...

because you can clean and polish an old Kirby or other metal vac or even a Hoover Convertible and it will present incredibly well. But something like that Dimension has to be unused to look like that, wow.

Ya think for yourself Dan. I have yet to hear anyone express such unbriddled enthusiasm for a Caddy Vac or Legacy before.

About Tacony, I should have said they only build some of their *canister* vacs here, the TOL models. And even those were assembled from parts made overseas. But maybe that has changed. The video on the Simplicity website says plans for a domestic canister were in the works. And this from the Tacony website:

"Tacony manufactures vacuum cleaners and commercial cleaning products in these facilities: Ft. Worth, Texas; St. James, Missouri; West Chicago, Illinois; and Southhampton, England."
