Wow kirbyloverdan it looks like you've created yet another long running thread!! LOL I've wanted to see what you had for ages. You and I are a lot alike. I also take very good care of my machines. I am a little bit ridiculous about it. I HATE to have even a SINGLE scratch on my machines. I hate dents just as much. You may ask how are you able to live and/or vacuum with such paranoia? My answer would be VERY CAREFULLY... LOL

Thanks for allowing us to see.

that is so true , there are a select few of us on here that really know what we are talking about when it comes to vacuums . I have been working on vacuums since I was 5 and can fix any vacuum here or around the world as you could my friend .
We are true collectors who know machines inside and out I never had a web site to got to when I was fixing vacuums I just took them apart and figured it out .
Plus owning a variety and massive collection affords us the knowledge to give true life experience advice .
I will own another vacuum shop because I have Vacuum dust in my soul as do you my good friend. I will be posting many more vacuums in the weeks to come .

any time my friend , glad I could help out with the Hoover parts guru John Gregory he is an absolute asset to Hoover and has helped Hoover out tremendously especially after Maytag nearly destroyed the company . People have no idea if it wasn't for TTI Hoover would be a brand of the past . They have a LOVE for the brand and are keeping the tradition going so for people to talk so bad about TTI is wrong . They have a ton of awesome vacuums in the pipeline and I will always support that company . TTI is a family from Europe who truly care about their vacuums yes some are built in China for now but that will all change for the better .
The Robo Clean is an interesting water vacuum . Variable speed its own pump built in for the shampooer a double tank its a good machine that needs a longer cord .
Tons of attachments come standard . Who knows how long they will be around but its a neat vacuum to own .

That Hoover profile vac- lime green, can the brush be turned off? Looks nice

yes I thought it was time to unveil my collection I am having fun seeing things forgotten and out of sight . I love perfect machines hence more than 95% have been purchased brand new . The used machines in my collection come from select friends or family members . I am always careful with my machines and use them slowly and gently always cleaning them before I put them away .I am not as obsessed as I used to be but try to be careful as I can . Yeah I kinda can do that with these threads cant I ? lol Knowledge and expertise can lead to that I appreciate all the complements from all my good friends on Vacuum land . Enjoy as I post more later today .

I agree with you about sebo's aswell, I dislike the x series intensely due to my use of them in the cleaning company I co own and also in my workshop for repairs. I always thought it was a good machine and that the electronics messed it up, That's why I love my G series it works well but for its price i should feature a brush control feature. I do like the old brown 360's alswell. The new felix is good on the floor cleaner but the hose is useless in my opinion.

Miele is also not one of my favorites I can never understand why people say the build quality is so good, at best its as good as a entry level electrolux and the Electrolux ultraone is far better built.

Do you have any Nilfisks ?

Gareth

I agree about Miele as well they were always OK vacuums their mini tools and short hose I cant get over .

Yes Sebo Essential G is their best model hands down they do need a brush control to be able to do bare floors quick pick ups .

I had one Nilfisk GM90 a few years back that I sold on eBay it had an air driver PN the suction was tremendous and the filtration couldn't be beat . I liked it but wasn't crazy about it so I sold it .

Haven't said it yet but love the collection thus far. Like yourself I buy new unless there is a used vac that I have to have that are not made anymore, also glad to know I'm nit the only one who doesn't run the machine into things or let them get scratched.

My question for you is have you ever used or owned a rotho? It's always peaked my interest and was thinking about buying one but just wanted to make sure it is worth it.

Thanks Colby I appreciate the complement

I am like that with my cars also waxed weekly never park near anyone ever always the furthest away from the store ect.

I love to be the first to use a vacuum if they are used the always get new fan motor parts brush rollers outter bags ect . Sterilized and sanitized down to every screw.

I was interested in a Rotho but never bought one I was going to when I had my store but it looked hard to keep clean sorta like a Thermax which I have zero interest in also . A water vacuum needs to sit on a water pan or I am not interested in it .

Dan

Dan.

I'm like that with my cars as well minus the weekly wax, this snowy weather is killing me wish I had a bubble to teavel in

Yea the cleaning out of the rotho looked tedious even though they say it's easier than a rainbow, I just don't see how with all those nooks and cranny a in the bin. I also go crazy and clean any used machine like that, I've never been to someone's house that I felt was as clean as mine.

The thermax phase came and went with me, never bought one since they just looked incomplete to me or something lol.

So funny

Colby when my grandfather was alive he used to say to me "Kid why don't you put your car in a bubble and drive it " that just brought back fond memories lol.

I used to be fanatical about cleaning my house now its clean but not spotless I grew out of that but not with my cars .

Seems like we are pretty similar lol

Dan

You do have quite an extensive collection, and clearly expansive knowledge on the subject. I am looking forward to seeing those NIB older machines.

I really do love working in a vacuum store. I have been working for our local shop for almost four years now, and I have been visiting their shop (frequently) since we moved here in 1999.

We have a lot in common lol. Nice to find other people with similar beliefs like me. Keep the photos coming, I can appreciate the time it takes to setup take the pics and then put the machines back

on the car thing

I am still fanatical about my cars but not nearly as bad as I used to be, I used to wash th ecar in the rain before parking it away to keep it clean. I still can't drive a dirty car but having a family , two mini me's has changed that allot I still clean the car twice a week but not every day like I used to

Gareth

Well its just me my dog , two boyfriends and my girlfriend and they are very neat inside and outside its washed almost everyday because I have an unlimited car wash pass I bought its $199.00 for the entire year and I can go through as many times as I like . Waxing is done every week without a doubt I just pull into garage turn on heat and wax away .

Dan
