George

My last Mieles were two capricorns and the red upright newest one .
I thought the upright was bulkier than my Kirby's and very heavy .

The Capricorns I bought one for me and one for my sister
both fell apart quality was not as good as the models from the
2000's . Plus I always hated the short hoses and toy attachments .

You know my thoughts in Sebo just not impressed with them .

If I open a store again which I still might I would carry Simplicity again
Royal brand , Sirena and Hoover only .

Doug ,
Thanks yeah I have tons more you'll see ;) yes I miss my store but
I can always open another one that's in my plans .
I have a few Filter Queens which I love but can't stand
the constant color change . I hope the new one that is due out
is an improvement especially that power nozzle needs improvement .

Dan,

Your collection so far looks absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to see the other machines that you bought from our mutual friend on Drinker Street, the incredible Mr. John Gregory, as well as the rest of your fabulous high end machines!

I can really tell that quality is your friend! If you haven't already, check out the Royal Lexon S20 full size canister. I just bought one from John and it's absolutely amazing!

Thanks

Tom ,

I am very blessed and grateful for everything and everyone in my life .
It's a dream come true to be able to own every vacuum I could ever want .
This is just the very beginning I took all these out of my loft and it looks like
nothing was removed , that's pretty sad I have gone overboard but will sell a
lot of these machines and give a lot away to friends and relatives .

Dan

Very nice collection Dan, what is the oldest machines that you have? Do you have your collection on display or just stored up in the loft? My name is Charlie, I am on Long Island.

Great collection! I'd probably spend and hour just deciding which one to use.

Hi Charlie

Thank you were not too far away from each other :)
I think the oldest is from 1910 a Eureka . Not too much into the old vacuums I am more of a 50's on up to the newer models . My favorite being Kirby and then all high end machines .
My house isn't large enough to display my collection I could have a huge home if I wanted to
but I prefer smaller old homes . Never got into McMansions although I have almost bought 3 over the years but always wind up backing out . My home now is a 20's bungalow surrounded by 28 acres and I own an ocean front condo in Atlantic City NJ .

Dan

My gifts for

My Ocean front condo from my good friend John Gregory owner of Sweeper Central an authorized Hoover floor care center in Dunmore Pa .
A Hoover Profile which I love it's an improvement over a Sebo and out cleans Sebo because of Windtunnel technology . And a steam vac to keep the carpets clean .

Oh Daniel

You have a fabulous collection!! It must have taken you years to come across such nice machines! You have inspired me to post my collection on here too! I will post pics of my collection once I can take pics with my new Canon Rebel!

Derek

thank you so much . Since most have been stored away I kind of forgot what I had now that I'm going through them I am sure I will be using my forgotten treasures again to help me decide which to sell donate or keep .Its funny I keep saying wow I have this vacuum ? Now that's a problem when you cant even remember what you own :(

Dan

Another pair

My Favorite full size canisters sold through vacuum shops .

My Simplicity S36L I have left from my store this was when they first came out .
I still prefer this to any Miele or Sebo the quality and features are much better
and if I do reopen a Vacuum shop it will be Simplicity or Riccar .

Next is my TOL Riccar 1800 I live this canister the color and all the standard options
are hard to beat . I love the metal 3 row brush roller ;)

Yes Mike

the limit is when I say that's the limit !!!

I work hard and enjoy my life to the fullest .

The harder I work the more funds I have to buy brand NEW Vacuums or what ever my heart desires .

Does my collection look like trash finds or yard sale flea market vacuums ?

Does that answer your question Mike ?

Dan

was that necessary, I mean no offense but people here tend to enjoy their so called yard sale finds because it gives them the opportunity to restore and show pride for something that they themselves completed. I mean ALOT of us work hard for what we want, need and have some of us more than others. as another member has said here some have money, some have class, some have both and some have neither. I work very hard for what I have and since it is only words on a screen and it doesn't show tone or emotion i am not going to take your response as sarcasm as I think you took my question the wrong way... anyway nice collection
