Dan:Mine always popped off-made me think of a toy rocket I had as a kid that launched in a similar way-you stompted on a large air bulb to fire the toy rocket.I horse traded the'Lux machine to a dealer for a Kirby G4 or something.I had seen other Guardians with their filters duct taped in place.I have an old grey Renessance-this machie is quiet and has its filter inside-under a cover on back-top of the canister. Will have to drag this one out and try it some-its behind several rows of vacuums and other stuff.

Do you <span style="font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: 12pt;">think</span> <span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde;">John "G" <span style="font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: 12pt;">would any parts for a model 150 upright? I found one that's not in too bad shape for its age.</span></span>

Beautiful!!

I acquired a brand new Kirby Heritage II with the small rug tool, attachments & rug renovater/shampooer, never been used all for FREE!!!!! After they had a weekend garage sale Fri-Sat & the people all left yesterday they were going through the house & found it in the attic so I didn't have to be told twice it was for free, I just quickly collected it & carried it home before they changed their minds as sometimes old people will do! LOL No musky smells or anything never seen a climate controlled attic before but then again here nothing ever surprises me or shocks me at all.

Dan said: "These are not vacuums Mark. But lots of "RARE" HOOVER items that only I now own ..."

So did John Gregory find the legendary and elusive Hoover popcorn popper for you?
