Really beautiful machine-are you going to use it?I like these metal machines,too-so much better than the plastic ones. The metal may dent or scratch but still can be used over a plastic machine whose case BREAKS-no longer useable.
Just so you know, I was able to find one of the green Electrolux brushrolls . My local Aerus dealer in Barrie, Ontario had a good used one that he was willing to sell for $33 CDN dollars plus tax. However, a warning to anyone who wants this brushroll for it's improved performance....do yourself a favor & just get the Aerus 10 degree brushroll. The performance between the green brushroll & the 10 degree brushroll is exactly the same, I found no improvement whatsoever in cleaning performance with the green brushroll.
The part for the 10 degree brushroll is: 48497 Brush Dowel (10 deg) & it sells for $69.99 CDN thru any Aerus franchise in Canada. One other way to improve performance is to take out the floating height adjustment in the back & "fix" the back wheels permanently with two metal pins, between the new 10 degree brushroll & fixing the rear wheels, it makes a HUGE difference in the powerhead's performance.
This year I rarely go into the local Salvation Army store because I never purchase used vacuums but this day something told me to stop in . Well thank God I did I found a brand new in box Aerus central vac complete with all attachments for $99.00 and 50% off plus the lady took off another $10.00 because I was so nice to her that I gave her as a tip for doing that gotta have this installed while renovations are getting done to my house .
Yeah if I had to choose it would be my Mercedes GL I LOVE that vehicle I can go anywhere had it on the beach many times even had to pull out a stuck cop car on the beach a few weeks back their explorer got stuck so I just hooked up the chain and pulled them back to traction .
Awwww that makes me feel all warm inside! & no its not hot flashes!! I love going back & looking at Dan's collection watching how the vacuums have evolved over the years! Again thank you Dan for all you do!
