My Expierience With Dirt Devil

Ok, so I am staying in a condo at the beach, When we got here I noticed a Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagged upright.. Well after a couple of days I decided to sweep with it when the rug got dirty.. Well I used it it picked up the wrappers nd the crumbs nd junk, I went to use thr attatchmentd for the kitchen, well I put on the wand nd brush..Hit the power switch nd nothing happened... Diff plug same thing...It didnt even look like it was used much! Bag wasnt full nd the belt was actually burning on a rug.. Well I learned my lesson, never get a dirt devil from this time period! The ones from the 90's Are great vacs!!

Did you go back to the original out let to see if the machine would work again?

Could be a bad wire in the cord on the machine end or plug end. If the machine over heated it could have caused it to shut down until it cooled down or there maybe some outlets that are connected to a wall switch that controlls the outlet.

Yea ill try that. But the vacuums is only 40 bucks. So it aint gonna last forever.

yups it is a disposable vacuum. Bag get full toss the whole machine.
