I hope Chris enjoys it anyway

Chris certainly does enjoy it!

I do agree with Alex, it is big, loud and awkward, but I needed a 3in1 wet and dry cleaner and something to use when decorating or doing any kind of messy tasks. The Contour, Powerline and 1000 were all just taking up room - I don't think I've used the 1000 since I got it about 18 months ago. The swap made perfect sense to both of us.

Tayyab, you have a good collection! but what do you call a "fat Henry base"? LOL

Chris, I do like the George, but I know what Alex is saying. I'm considering getting a 1990's George.

George, by any chance do you have a Numatic George? lol

- Joe

Joe, it's true, they are large and not very easy to use, but no more so than an old Vax and a darn sight better. I actually found the shampooing to be pretty great on George and the suction is incredible

George:- I have the DD Handy zip :) its in the shed though, I don't use it much though
Joe:- LOL I was saying that its a numatic nmotor unit with a henry bucket with the large base
Alex:- What do you mean? :/

George:-I was planning to bin the Dirt Devil by the way a while ago, but I used it for sawdust as my Dad was doing a project and involved cutting wood, it did an excellent job, so I thought Id just keep it, now its in the shed

George:- I might give you my DD soon
I really want an eco henry, and an old henry, and a DC05 motorhead along with a DC14 Animal, DC03, and DC04 absolute

Hi George,
Don't worry- Im ok, I am just on the hunt for a Dyson DC03, DC04 clutched, DC05 absolute, Dyson DC05 motorhead, Dyson DC14 Animal, Old Henry, Eco Henry, and a hoover turbo power autosense along with a junior and a purepower autosense or not
Regards :)

Tayyab

Your collection is great! Im not such a Dyson fan as you that i'd get lots of them, but I was tempted by an half price offer for the DC38 mini ball cyclinder at a nationwide chain store a few months ago and its become my daily machine. I love it! it suits us as we have mainly hard floors it's so easy to use you hardly ever have to tug on the hose it just seems to follow you! :)

Hi there Dan,
I Love the DC18, I seen one at the scrap yard, but the gates were locked, I saw it through the gaps between the gates. I was so happy, I wanted it, next morning when it was open, I asked the man there if I could have it, he sadly said no, I was so annoyed then. PS I had the Electrolux Workzone too, I loved it, it was noisy but the best handheld I used.
Kind Regards,
Tayyab Parwaz

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the help, I am looking for a very cheap Eco Henry and as for an Old Henry, I am looking for the one with a power socket at the back with the old red name "Henry" in bold big letters
Thanks

Tayyab

You mean the HVR200 with red Henry Lettering old bucket design with no anti-tip guard at the back (unlike the new ones) with powerhead socket, rocker switch with 1000 watt motor and cord rewind, those are from around 1990-1996 ish. That one?

Yes, Thanks Alex :D; [ That's exactly what I am looking for, I used my Cousin's 2007 Henry HVR200 with rocker switches, it dam dam powerful, I would love a machine like that, but I'd like a quieter Henry because all my vacuums I have are loud lol, it would be nice to have a quiet vacuum for a change that still cleans up like a powerful machine

"all my vacuums I have are loud"

They wouldn't happen to be Dysons, would they? :P You do have ear dependers, don't you? :P haha.

Anyway the henrys are generally quite, especially the new ones and the early 2000's ones.

BTW Jacob, Your DC03 would be better with a new post motor filter, all blockages cleared, fully cleaned cyclone, and if you want to get a new brushbar, clutch and the seals for it, you would have an excellent Dyson :)
With the DC01, filters should work, and How's the DC04 doing? :)

Alex:- Lol, I don't need ear defenders, I'm fine, but I can always hear my neighbours DC33 :P

Joe:-Thanks!
