My Current Vacuum Cleaner Collection 2013

Hi everyone, I decided that today I would do an update video on YouTube of my Vacuum cleaner collection, so I thought since I had them all out I would do a thread about it too.

I will start With my Hoovers, since they make up most of my collection I thought why not.

Here are my Hoover Juniors, starting on the left - Refurbished 1346 style Junior 2009, in the middle - U1012 Junior 1976 and at the end 1334E Junior 1967.

Next up the Turbopowers

Here are my Lovely Turbopower 1's Starting on the far left - Turbopower Plus Total System U2602 1991 (pretty Nackered), then next to that is the bagless Turbopower Freedom Total System 1991, next to that is the turbopower U2194 1985 and finally on the end there, is the Turbopower Total System U2798 1995.

Now onto the Turbopower 2's

On the Left there, is the Basic (BOL) Turbopower 2 U2462 1994 (this one has bad bearings) in the middle is the (TOL) Turbopower 1000 1993. and finally on the end there, is the Mid range Turbopower 2 Autosense U2464 1993

Now the Purepowers

On the left there, is the Purepower PU2120 2010, on the end is the Purepower U3330 2001

Moving onto the Electroluxes

On the Left there is the Electrolux Powerline Z1375 Circa 1998, on the end there is the Contour PulsePower Z1450 circa 1991.

Now My Dysons

Not Much of a Dyson fan but I don't HATE them
On the left is the Dyson DC01 Destijl 1997 on the right there is the Dyson DC04 Silver And Lime 2004.

Alex, is the 1334E Junior a metal hood/base vacuum? That's my favorite style of the Juniors. Is the handle taller on that one, or is it just an illusion? I don't have a vast knowledge of the Juniors, but when did Hoover discontinue that line? Very nice collection btw, and yes, I see you're an upright person!

Hi

The 1334E is a plasic body, earlier versions of the 1334 would of had a metal body like the "pink and white" one. The underside of the fan chamber is metal base. The handle and handle release is metal though. The handel on the U1012 and the 1334E is the same length, it is just the angle I took the picture from so will just be an illusion. I believe the 1334E was discontinued in 1970 I think. The 1334E ran along side the 1346 as the base model in 1967 so I imagine by 1970 it would of been discontinued altogether.
Maybe if someone with more knowlege can help you better but I imagine that was the way of it.

1: I thought you had a Kirby heritage 2 ledgend?
2: I thought you had 2 DC01 destijls?
3: I thought you had a 2008 Henry HVR20022?

Hi Dyson Destijl...

The Heritage ll Legend went to a friend of mine, Michael (thekirbylover) I have not had that machine for over a year now
I still have the other DC01 Destijl but it is in pieces, I now use it for spares
The 2006 Henry now lives with my sister as she was using a vax swift for hard flooring and that was more than motivation for me to give it to her! haha.

Don't worry, ask as many questions as you want.
