Not according to Dyson on Facebook but that was someone who had gone over the top & was demanding allsorts from them. I do think 5 year warranty has to be backed up by some durability.

Wow Steve you're really going for it I've just donated one of my cylinders to a friend for their new apartment so I've actually downsized and going to get rid of more I think I want the space back. I think I'm going off vacs lol

Sorry Hi-lo the Hoovers and AEG's will deffo be staying I'v given away my Hoover Curve because it was basically just a cheap generic sort of vacuum.

My Grand perants use to have a Hoover freedom just like the one in that photo

I actually saw a Dyson DC07 like that one once. Snapped right at the base of the handle. The whole vacuum had faded to green and was super brittle.

Yes the entire base broke off my DC07 in shipping (seller didnt believe in bubble wrap) and then 3 months after buying it I tripped over the base and my foot sheared the rest of it completely off before I even had a chance to fix it. Once I get to that point I will be looking for a replacement base.
