Help Support VacuumLand:

As promised...

Here is my black Kenmore progressive canister all serviced up. I wish I would've gotten one on either a red or a blue version cause I like the colors and the suction motor on those better.

And hopefuly tomorrow

I saw a Electrolux Discovery III tonight at my thrift store but it was in the back room that I wasn't allowed to go in there so I have to wait tomorrow morning to see if it will be out for sale yet or they might throw it away if it doesn't work.

air and electric nozzles

I definitely agree that electric nozzles are better. Since my girl friend's vacuum does not have an electric hose next time she needs to clean the litter from the area rug, I'm going to bring one of my electric nozzles over. I have a 35 foot cord that will let you connect a power nozzle directly to a wall outlet, I can pretty much say for sure it will clean better than the turbine and not get clogged with the litter. It's really a shame that at that home show, a dealer, who you would think would really know about what they were selling was telling people that kind of false information about air nozzles cleaning just as well as electric. No way. I always suggest, if you think you need a spinning brush fora canister, don't even bother with the turbines, spend the extra money and get an electric.

Alright this is pretty much an update on my collection here. Just got 2 new vacuums over the past few weeks, it's a Dyson DC14 Fullkit and a Simplicity Sentry III 4800. The Dyson I got at the thrift store for about $15 bucks and all it needs is a $5 spring on the quick release wand which that's easy to do but it will be going in storage because I don't want it in my house. The Simplicity I also got at the thrift store for $10 and It's going to need a new brushroll which I can easily get and it also needs a new bottom plate which may be a little hard to get because those bottom plates are discontinued, I will keep an eye at my local vacuum store to see if there are any Sentry bottom plates that are in good shape that I can get.

That's pretty much about it on my little update here. I was going to plan on selling some of my vacs this summer but I will be very busy this summer and throughout the rest of the year that it will have to wait til like another year at least. Also I will be posting on Youtube some of my vacuums but I don't think I will do all of them, just some that I will have time to do. Someone emailed me a while ago I can't remember who but Someone requested to do a video of my Kenmore professional 12" made by Sebo, I will get to that as soon as I get a new Servo motor for it.

Last post in this thread

Next time I show off more pics from either my collection or showing off my relative's vacs, I will post them on another thread due to the fact I don't like posting on long threads that takes a while to scroll down. So this is my sister's Hoover elite rewind from 2005, this used to be mine before I gave this to her a few years ago when she needed a vacuum for her place.
