Hi this is my Dyson DC07 Standard I got today, It seems to be hardly used and have everything nearly new on it! It also has the circle plug with it aswell!

Its more powerful than I thought and expected, I vacuumed downstairs and got approx 3/4 of a bin full! or half

The Dyson looks like an early model DC07 from 2001, as I can only just make out the ID plate doesn't say made in Malaysia, and they were all made there after 2002.
The early DC07's made in the UK also had the round plugs, but also had the old style mark 1 cyclone systems which clogged up easily, so it would pay you to remove the top handle occasionally and check for clogs around the tops of the cyclones. Later models were de-rooted so the clogging was less of a problem.

Its a nice early example that's been well kept - but take care with it, as the early ones become very brittle with age!

Also, the pre motor filter housing looks like its missing its black rubber seal, which goes over the central section, and presses against the back of the housing.

You can see the seal in this picture, it stops dirt escaping up the pressure relief tube and getting into the motor.

Cool! Lol and you had to picture the Argos vac. I had one of these dysons in for a repair once, the cyclone was packed with crap! Anyway it looks like a great dyson, where did you get it from?
I'm sure you'll love it, I have the newer origin one, and used to have the animal and 2 allergys, but only got this one left!

Okay

Steve:- Thank you so much, I actually remember that seal but Didn't notice it being missing, Thanks mate :) No wonder the suction release valve goes off quicker than the other DC07's I had.

Dysondestijl:- Nice Dysons! better than mine lol Our DC04 only needed a new wand cap but I replaced it with a replacement proper one :)
My previous DC07 standard had the main cyclone (the long tube in the middle) all jam packed with fine dust! I had no bagged vacuum apart from Dysons that time so I had to take it outside with the big bin and a very long drill piece and had to push and scoop it out.

PS Im not going to buy a DC07 in shiny silver/ yellow as I know that's a malaysian model, however If I need a DC07 then maybe I have to lol :) but I am going to keep this one forever
