My 1975 Hoover Convertible!

Hi everyone! My husband's boss the other day gave me this Hoover Convertible vacuum! I've affectionately named him "Hoovie"! He's pretty neat! His boss said it's from 1975, I don't know anything about Hoovers. All we've done to it so far is clean it really good, put a new belt on it, and change the bag. It works so good that it literally wants to eat the carpet!!! Ha Ha! If anybody has any info regarding dear old "Hoovie" I would greatly appreciated it!!! -Michelle

The only thing

That is from the 70`s is the bag from model U4005 made from 1973-75 a Hoover Deluxe convertible,the Hoover Vacuum itself is from the mid 80`s a Model U4518, U4519 or U4725 was sold through Sears brand central .

( Hoovie picture four ) How do you know Hoovie is a boy vacuum and not a girl vacuum? Also what about door knobby in the picture ? HE needs help! Bill,
