So I went to this little restaurant in town for lunch today. Nobody in there except the owner/cook and myself. We were chatting it up about everything and somehow got on the subject of things we collect. I mentioned to her that I collected the older Electrolux Vacuum cleaners and she told me to hang on a minute. She goes back to this old corner cabinet and digs through it for a few minutes. After a bit of digging, she brings out an old Olympia One Electrolux, hose, and bare floor tool. She says, "here you can have this, I need it out of my way anyway"...she then tells me that she has the power nozzle somewhere and will dig it out for me too! The vac needs total rehab, but still, that was a nice dessert after a great lunch! She is a wonderful cook I might add, so I'll be back there a LOT more often! I'll get pics up soon!

Wow thats awesome these are the stories that make vacuum collecting so interesting thanks. Zach

Well.....

she created a very loyal customer and you got a LUX for free. I'd say it's a win/win for the both of you. You'll probably bring her biz too....small investment on her part.

Congrats on the LUX!

I love when things like this happen, good ol fashoned networking. Like Kevin said, she created a loyal costomer and you may have more vacs coming your way and a new friend :)

I completely agree!

Normally my luck doesn't run along those lines, but you are absolutely correct, she has a customer for life and I not only have found a great place to eat, but someone who likes the old Electrolux vacs too and doesn't care to share them! And yes I did leave her a good tip! :)

She found me another piece...

I went back in yesterday to eat lunch and she had dug some more among the stuff and found the dusting brush that went along with it!
