I am not familiar with that particular model, but I know that our local schools had the polished aluminum ones with the orange bumpers. They are quality machines that are built to last.

The company has been around since 1934 and is based in Minnesota.

Here is its website: http://multi-clean.com/

Some history ...

The Minuteman polisher was first made in 1951 when the company was founded as the American Cleaning Equipment Corp.. The company had produced floor cleaning equipment, including polishers and scrubbers, since its inception. Minuteman was acquired by Hako Group in 1980 and Multi-Clean was acquired by it in 1984. Hako, an international company founded in 1948, is based in Germany.

eBay has a current listing for a Premier floor polisher, model PR-15, with a G-E motor. According to what I could find online, the Multi-Clean Company of St. Paul, Minnesota began in 1953 as the Premier Company (not to be confused with the company that originated as Frantz-Premier in 1910) when it purchased all G-E's industrial floor care tools, dies, and license patents rights. The company changed its name in 1954, so the Premier floor polisher at least with the Premier Company name had a short run.
