Hi everyone,

I came across this on Ebay, and I was wondering what it is, it looks like a Henry HVR200-22, but for some reason it's called "Mr Henry".

I would appreciate any info on this.

Thanks,

- Joe

That isn't a HVR200-22

The HVR200-22 with new swith bank has the numatic logo ontop of the cord winder which this does not and if it was the old style with push button and rocker switch it, the push button would stick up from the angle the picture was taken.

Just from looking at this photo I am willing to bet it was a store exclusive from 1999-2002

It's funny, I've just been discussing this model. It wasn't an exclusive, but it was a more "deluxe" model that came with a different brush and a packet of Tri-Clean powder (similar to Dyson Zorb and Sebo Duo-P).

Interesting, where did you find that out Chris?
I've never seen a Henry like this before. Speaking of which, I might try and get some Dyson Zorb powder, it would be interesting to see if it does much to the carpet with my DC04.

"They introduced the push button in 2001"

I think it was 2003 they introduced the push button because from the 1980's up until the early 2000's they used the rocker switch and up until then the only think different about the early 2000's models is they had no power nozzel socket.

I would love to get my hands on a Henry from about 2000/2001 which has rocker switch, single speed and single stage motor.

I LOVE that type, it is my faveourite Henry.

Oh right, I was just going on what I've heard.
Why's that type your favorite Henry? What wrong with the one before that with the power socket and the red writing?

I thought you said you couldn't stand cylinder vacs lol :P

My 'Henry'

....is in beige (cream??) and brown, and was bought 'reconditioned' in 1992. He is living in an original 'Henry' box/carton (sadly not his own... The box dates fron the late '90s)

He is now living quietly in retirement... ;)

All best

Dave T

I just love the sound of the motors and the way it looks from the back :P haha

I am not a cylinder fan never REALLY have been but I have always had a soft spot for Numatics, especially the Henry.

Wow Dave, I've always wanted a cream and beige Henry, if you are ever wanting to sell it please give me a shout. Here are my Henry's (pictured below).

Alex, I've always liked Numatic's too. Loads of the 2000/2001 Henry's come up on Ebay quite often, I can keep an eye out for you, if you like :)

I Love that style Henry!

I know Henry's are practically the same but that is my favourite mostly because of the motor noise, I love that high pitch whistle the motor makes when it is slowing down, it sort of goes mmmmmm(turn off) mmm-errrrrrr-uuurrrrr-eeeeeee VERY difficult to describe but I hope I haven't baffled you :P

Oh god, no!

It is such a unique sound, the new Henry's sort of do it but not like those ones and the old motors in the old henrys just have a classic wind down.
