Mr Baird and his inventions

I was researching older kirby's and heard about some of the inventions created by Mr Baird. I know about the double dirt meter and the Baird meter, though I have a feeling he had some other creations. Does anybody know about these or have photos of them. Thank you.

Hmmm. I thought BAIRD was an acronym for something, not a person's name ???
