Mowed for the first time

How big is the engine on that 2-stroke Snapper?

4 horsepower. It winds up really fast too, the first time I used it I thought it was goimg to blow up, but it has done MANY hours at that speed since, and is still fine. If I could find a 4 stroke mower that worked as well, I would probably replace it, but none seem to work as well.
