John, that is really amazing to me! My family moved around a lot when I was young. We lived in eight different houses from the time I was born (1956) until I came to California (1980). And my parents moved four more times since then!
I've lost count of how many places I've lived in Los Angeles. I was a real gypsy until 1984 when I met my partner, Arlee, and finally settled down. We moved a couple of places the first couple of years but in 1991 moved to where we lived until two years ago when we were summarily forced out by the new owners of the building. We'd still be there were it not for that.
